“What’s the difference?” I asked him. “Between the love of your life, and your soulmate?”

“One is a choice, and one is not.”

Anonymous said: hey, i saw your blog and you look so so so SO amazing!! idk recenty i feel so ugly and disgusting. I've never been so disturbed by myself. My mom tells me i dont look so pretty as a did and everytime i look ito the mirror i want to puke because i look so gross.

awww thank you! ahh i feel like everyone goes through a time where they just don’t feel that great about self appearance. Trust me, it’s all in your head. I’m sorry about your mom and unfortunately parents can be really shit and don’t realize what they say/do affects their kids in pretty traumatizing ways. I had to deal with the same thing from my mom for a loooooong time(sometimes I still do), eventually I came to realize no, it’s not me. it’s the ugliness she has/feelings that have to do with something else(in my case her own self appearance issues) that they feel they need to relinquish on their children. I guarantee once you stop listening to what you’re mom says(cause naturally we tend to believe what our parents say), you’ll feel a lot better and you’ll realize how beautiful you truly are!!! You are not gross! No one is gross, we just tend to believe what we are told time and time again.

The capacity to be alone is the capacity to love. It may look paradoxical to you, but it’s not. It is an existential truth: only those people who are capable of being alone are capable of love, of sharing, of going into the deepest core of another person—without possessing the other, without becoming dependent on the other, without reducing the other to a thing, and without becoming addicted to the other. They allow the other absolute freedom, because they know that if the other leaves, they will be as happy as they are now. Their happiness cannot be taken by the other, because it is not given by the other. Osho (via lazyyogi)
